About Train the Trainers Program

The Fire Safety Train-The-Trainer Program is a comprehensive 10-day certification (Track 1 ) course designed to develop internal fire safety training capabilities within organisations.

This IOSH-inspired program transforms experienced safety professionals into competent fire safety trainers who can deliver effective, engaging, and compliant training programs to their workforce.

Course Description

This intensive program combines fire safety technical expertise with advanced adult learning methodologies to create highly effective internal trainers. Participants will master both the technical content of fire safety and the pedagogical skills necessary to deliver impactful training that changes behaviours and saves lives.

The course follows a dual-track approach:
Track 1: Master-level fire safety technical content ( 10 days )
Track 2: Advanced training delivery methodologies and adult learning principles

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.

• OR Diploma with 5+ years safety experience

• OR Professional safety certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP)

Technical Competencies

• Working knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards

• Understanding of fire behaviour and suppression principles

• Familiarity with emergency response procedures

• Basic risk assessment capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications: NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, NFPA certifications
• International experience in fire safety or training
• Instructional design background or adult education experience.
• Industry-specific expertise (construction, manufacturing, oil & gas)

Core Adult Learning Principles, Practical Application Strategies, Learning Objectives Development, training delivery techniques etc/

Formative, Summative , Pratical , Written Assessments.

Phase 3 - ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION MASTERY

Phase 4 - PRACTICAL APPLICATION & CERTIFICATION

Deliver 30 minute training module, realtime feedback, video recording of self assessment etc
